As many of you know, I had surgery in December to correct a PFO/ASD (hole in the heart). This surgery was done to decrease the risk of stroke and hopefully get rid of the migraines I was getting. Well, my headaches didn't go away and I didn't feel a whole lot better after the procedure was done. I went in for my three-month follow up and found out that the hole isn't all the way closed. Yeah. Fun.
It is better. Stroke risk is still down. Just my headaches are still bothering me and I am tired a lot.
Anyway, I go see my surgeon on Friday, May 1st. He'll decide what he wants to do, whether it be to redo the procedure or just let it be.
Stupid heart, right? Sorry to be such a downer today. Listening to sappy music hasn't helped much either. What were some of those happy songs again, Krissi? I could use some!
