It has been sooo sad!

Our dog, Trixie, had a cut on her eye, so we took her to the vet and they recommended that we sew her third eyelid shut (I didn't even know dogs had three eyelids, but whatever!) and that they sew her other eyelids closed with a button. A button?

Yes, a button. Like just a regular button. Yeah, I know she looks kind of scary, like a cyborg or something. Poor dog. She had to have this button and cone on for 10 days. She couldn't eat or drink or sleep. Poor little thing.

Here is Trixie after she got the button and cone off. Doesn't she look much better? It has been quite the adventure for her. I have felt so bad for her. Hopefully she won't be blind in this eye because she has absolutely no sense of smell. I mean NONE! If she can't see, then she is in real trouble.
